This Privacy Policy applies to the Grindstone Moments website located at grindstonemoments.com (the Site), operated by Ignyte Greatness LLC.

Ignyte Greatness LLC operates the Site to provide information about Grindstone Moments and related work, to facilitate the purchase of books and related digital materials, and to enable inquiries about speaking, private advisory, and facilitated team experiences with Patricia L. Hendricks.

Direct purchases and shipping through grindstonemoments.com are available only within the United States. The Site does not accept international orders or ship products outside the United States. International readers may purchase through third-party retailers when the book becomes available through those retailers beginning October 17, 2026.

This Privacy Policy explains how Ignyte Greatness LLC collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit the Site, make a purchase, join an email list, or communicate with us.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you choose to provide through the Site, including:

  • Telephone number

We may receive transaction details such as the payment status, amount, payment-method type, billing contact information, and limited fraud-prevention information. Ignyte Greatness LLC does not directly store your complete credit or debit card number.

We may also collect limited technical information automatically, including your browser type, device information, Internet Protocol address, pages visited, referring website, and general interaction with the Site.

2. How We Use Your Information

We may use personal information to:

  • Process and fulfill purchases
  • Deliver books, digital materials, or related resources
  • Respond to questions and provide customer support
  • Evaluate and respond to speaking, advisory, or facilitated-engagement inquiries
  • Prepare proposals, schedule conversations, administer confirmed engagements, and communicate with you or your organization about requested services

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in the message. Transactional communications concerning a purchase may still be sent when necessary.

3. How We Share Information

We may disclose personal information to the following categories of service providers:

  • Payment processor, currently Stripe: Receives payment, transaction, billing, contact, device, cookie, and fraud-prevention information when you proceed to Stripe's hosted checkout. Stripe may also receive the applicable Terms version, acceptance timestamp, selected edition, and identifiers used to connect your acceptance to the resulting transaction. Complete payment-card information is submitted directly to Stripe and is not stored by Ignyte Greatness LLC.
  • Website hosting and technical providers, including Netlify: May process Internet Protocol addresses, browser and device information, page requests, timestamps, diagnostic data, security information, and information submitted through the Site as necessary to host, maintain, secure, and troubleshoot the Site and its server-side functions.
  • Email and communication provider, currently MailerLite: Receives the name, email address, order information, and related fulfillment information needed to send post-purchase confirmations and provide access to included digital resources. Marketing messages are sent only according to your communication choices and applicable law.
  • Book fulfillment and shipping providers: Receive your name, shipping address, contact information, order details, and delivery information as needed to fulfill and deliver physical purchases.
  • Order-record and database provider, currently Supabase: Stores server-side order and transaction records, including information used to document checkout acceptance and fulfill purchases. Supabase does not contact your browser directly during ordinary browsing.
  • Google Fonts: The Site uses Google Fonts solely to display its approved typography. When a page loads, the visitor's browser requests font files from Google and necessarily transmits the visitor's Internet Protocol address and standard browser-request information. Google Fonts is not used by the Site for analytics, advertising, profiling, or targeted marketing and is not controlled by the Cookie Notice.
  • Cloudflare Stream: The homepage includes one embedded video. The Cloudflare Stream player does not load until you deliberately select the video. Once selected, your browser connects directly to Cloudflare and transmits your Internet Protocol address and standard browser-request information so the video can be delivered.
  • Professional advisers: Contact, transaction, and business-record information disclosed when reasonably necessary for legal, accounting, tax, insurance, or compliance services.
  • Engagement support providers: Contact, scheduling, event, travel, and service-delivery information shared when reasonably necessary to prepare for or deliver a confirmed speaking, advisory, or facilitated engagement.

These providers may process personal information only for the services they perform for us or as otherwise permitted by applicable law.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to respond to lawful legal processes, investigate fraud or security incidents, enforce our agreements, or protect the rights and safety of Ignyte Greatness LLC and others.

We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under applicable privacy law. We do not use personal information for targeted advertising or automated profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

4. Sensitive Personal Information

We do not intentionally request sensitive personal information through the Site or the Work With Patricia inquiry process. Please do not include medical information, government identification numbers, complete payment-card information, account passwords, or confidential information belonging to your employer, clients, or other people in an inquiry or ordinary email. If sensitive personal information is ever necessary to fulfill a specific request you make, we will provide an appropriate notice and obtain your specific, affirmative consent before collecting or processing it, unless another lawful basis applies. You may withdraw consent by emailing info@grindstonemoments.com.

We do not sell sensitive personal information.

5. Payment Processing

Book purchases, and any service deposits or fees that we expressly make payable online, are processed by Stripe. Stripe may collect payment, transaction, contact, device, cookie, and fraud-prevention information and may process that information as described in its own privacy policy and terms. Please review Stripe's policies before completing a transaction.

6. Cookies and Website Technologies

The Site does not currently use client-side analytics, advertising, session-recording, heatmap, profiling, or targeted-marketing technologies. The Site displays a one-time Cookie Notice explaining the essential and content-delivery technologies used by the Site. Because the current Site does not use non-essential cookies or comparable tracking technologies, the notice does not present an Accept or Decline choice.

When you select Got it, the Site stores the value acknowledged in your browser's local storage under the key grindstoneCookieConsent. This is local browser storage, not a cookie. It is used only to avoid showing the same notice again during future visits from that browser. It does not contain your name, email address, payment information, order information, browsing history, or other personal information.

The acknowledgment does not currently include a policy-version identifier, timestamp, or separate expiration date. It remains in the browser until you clear the Site's stored data. If you clear that storage, the notice will appear again on your next visit. You may reopen the notice at any time by selecting Cookie Notice in the Site footer.

Google Fonts loads when a Site page opens and is not controlled by the Cookie Notice. The Cloudflare Stream video loads only after you deliberately select the video. The cookie-notice acknowledgment is separate from the checkout record documenting your age or capacity confirmation and acceptance of the Terms and Conditions. Neither record reads from or writes to the other.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, maintain business and transaction records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal, accounting, or tax obligations.

Retention periods vary based on the type of information, the purpose for which it was collected, and applicable legal requirements. For example, transaction records may be retained for the period required by tax, accounting, and payment laws; engagement inquiries, proposals, and agreements may be retained while an opportunity or engagement is active and for a reasonable period afterward; and marketing information is retained until you unsubscribe or it is no longer needed.

The Cookie Notice acknowledgment remains in your browser's local storage until you clear the Site's stored data. Checkout acceptance records may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to document your agreement, maintain transaction and business records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with applicable legal, accounting, and tax obligations.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

No website, electronic transmission, or data-storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You provide information through the Site at your own discretion.

9. Your Privacy Choices

Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • Confirm whether we process your personal information and access that information
  • Correct inaccurate personal information
  • Request deletion of personal information
  • Obtain a portable copy of certain personal information
  • Obtain information about the categories of third parties to which personal information has been disclosed
  • Withdraw consent when processing is based on consent
  • Opt out of marketing communications

To submit a privacy request or withdraw consent, email info@grindstonemoments.com with "Privacy Request" in the subject line and describe the right you wish to exercise. We may take reasonable steps to verify your identity before acting on the request. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.

If we deny your request, we will provide the reason for the denial and instructions for appealing the decision. To appeal, email info@grindstonemoments.com with "Privacy Appeal" in the subject line. We will respond to the appeal in writing within 60 days. If we deny the appeal, we will provide information about how to submit a complaint to the Maryland Office of the Attorney General.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.

10. Third-Party Websites

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services. Ignyte Greatness LLC does not control and is not responsible for the privacy, security, or content practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any third-party website or service you visit.

11. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take reasonable steps to delete it unless retention is required or permitted by law. A parent or legal guardian may contact us at info@grindstonemoments.com concerning a child's personal information.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes to the Site, our practices, or applicable law. The revised policy will be posted on the Site with an updated effective date. Material changes may be communicated through the Site or by another appropriate method.
